Lacey and Jenna have been friends since middle school, and in a way she's responsible for this all (she set up Jenna and Liam to go to senior prom together). She graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 2020 and went on to complete her PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Purdue in 2025. She now lives in Denver with her partner, Tyler, and her pup, Cassini.

Kelly Devens

Bridesmaid

The Stanford roommate gods paired Jenna and Kelly together their freshman year, and they were inseparable ever since. They frequently got mistaken for sisters, laughed at the same brainrot memes, and supported each other through every p-set and essay. Kelly now works and lives in New York with her fiancé, Liam, and her cat, Puddles.

Melina Walling

Jenna and Melina met at Stanford and connected over their shared love of poetry, tea, and tall men singing folk music. Their senior year dorm room was always filled with laughter and even after COVID sent them home they continued to call each other every day. Melina is now an environmental journalist and lives in Chicago.

Karey Shi

Bridesmaid

Karey and Jenna met as volleyball teammates at Stanford and haven't stopped playing together since. Their friendship grew through many Tahoe trips, board game nights, and tournament W's and L's. Jenna has actually sworn a blood oath to always play on Karey's volleyball teams. Karey lives in San Francisco with her partner, Eric.

Andrew Liddle

Best Man

Liam and Andrew first met in seventh grade and have been best friends since. They even breifly played in a rock band together. Andrew now lives with his girlfriend Akazi in the Bay Area and works with IT equipment.

Monroe Vallejo

Liam and Monroe were close friends in highschool and Monroe was the one who finally convinced Liam to ask Jenna out! Monroe lives in the Bay Area with his wife Joelle and works as a technical writer.

Caleb Ring

Liam and Caleb first met in highschool and bonded over all things game related (board games, video games, etc). He now lives with his girlfriend Sierra in the Bay Area and works on robots.

Miles Ruvalcaba

Liam and Miles met in highschool and stayed in touch (mostly by staying up late playing video games) even though they went to diferent colleges. Miles lives in Los Angeles and works as a youth counselor.

Georgia Garden

Mother of the Bride

The undisputed leader of the Garden family, Jenna's mom Georgia is truly superhuman. In addition to raising 8 humans, in her nonexistant spare time she supports their grandparents and fosters dogs from the animal shelter in Salinas.

Frank Garden

Father of the Bride

Jenna's dad Frank has worked in unions and labor for the bulk of his career, while spending the little free time he has outside of work taking care of his family and volunteering at local schools. Through his actions, he's consistently shown his kids how to be a good neighbor, friend, and community member.

Chris Garden

Chris is the next oldest Garden kid. He is a great older brother, helping to take care of his siblings and the family pets. He currently works as a delivery driver for Amazon. Note that he does not like pictures taken of him, so please ask permission first.

Melissa Garden

Melissa graduated from UC Davis last year with a degree in Psychology. She has been a dancer for most of her life and enjoys choreographing her own pieces. She loves animals and has a special bond with the Garden family dog, Luna.

Lacey just wrapped up her first year of college at UC Santa Cruz. She's studying Business. She loves spending time with her friends.

Michelle Garden

Michelle just finished up her freshman year of high school. She's very creative and loves painting and doing crafts. She also enjoys running and is on the track team at Salinas High. Jenna's parents always say that Michelle and Jenna would've been friends if they were the same age.

Nathan Garden

You might think that Jenna's parents couldn't possibly have a favorite child, but they do, and it's Nathan. Nobody will dispute that. Nathan just finished up 5th grade. He loves playing outside, reading, playing Minecraft, and doing KiwiCo kits.

Erica Garden

The youngest Garden girl, Erica always has a mischevious twinkle in her eye. She just finished up 1st grade. She enjoys playing outside and inventing new, innovative ways to get everyone's attention. She's tall, so Jenna hopes that volleyball is in her future someday.

Alden Garden

Alden is the youngest Garden kid. He turned 2 in November. He can be "slow to warm up," so don't take it personally if he won't make eye contact with you. He is secretly a very sweet guy. He loves anything with wheels.

Betty Fowles

Betty is Georgia's mom. She lives across the street from Jenna's parents in Salinas and hosts most of their holiday gatherings. Her family moved from Indiana to King City, CA when she was young. Fun fact is that she was actually the first mail lady in Salinas!

Fely Garden

Fely is Frank's mom. She lives in Salinas and is an active community member at Madonna del Sasso church. She loves travel, singing, and spending time with her family. She is originally from the Phillippines.
